Luck o’ the Potluck
“The Luck o’ the Potluck is a phrase that essentially means the chance or fortune of what you find at a potluck, referring to the unpredictable variety of dishes brought by different people, where you might get lucky and find your favorite food or a delicious surprise among the options available; it implies that the quality of your meal depends on what others have contributed to the potluck.”
The church will provide “Glazed Corned Beef”. Sign-up to bring your favorite side, salad or dessert. It will be a fun time to catch-up with someone you haven’t chatted with in a while or even meet someone new! There will be some fun (and maybe new to you) games in the gym.

Gather25 is an unprecedented 25-hour global broadcast event telling the inspiring stories of the global Church, by the global Church. But it won’t be a gathering of the global Church without you. Jesus followers in churches, campuses, arenas, and living rooms–from every continent and denomination–will join together across every time zone to watch the Gather25 broadcast that is free to everyone, everywhere. For 25 hours, Gather25 is inviting believers across the world to pray, repent, worship, and discover how the love of Jesus is transforming the world through everyday people. This is our moment in history to come together, be inspired by the stories of how God is moving across the earth, and be excited to share Jesus everywhere.

Join us Friday, February 28 from 5-9pm in the HUB. We’ll join the North America global livestream (from Dallas, TX) event as a “Gather Group”.
After 9pm, you can continue to participate via the broadcast on your own until 6pm on March 1st. To learn more and to register individually, go to Gather25.

Begin Your Journey
A three-week introduction to the essential habits of biblical community. These habits apply not only to our personal faith, but also are the practices of our Journey Groups. This gathering is primarily designed for those who are new to Garland, or new to the faith, but all are welcome to take part in this series which begins October 13 thru October 27.
