Christmas Eve

We’re focusing on themes like longing, captivity, ransom and exile and how Jesus’ birth gives hope despite these challenges.  Drawn from that 9th Century Latin Advent hymn, “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” We think you’ll enjoy our journey together.  Expect to laugh and be challenged by all these themes for the next Paul Tapp original drama, “A King’s Ransom,” on Sunday, December 23.  And finally, plan now to be a part of our Christmas Eve worship gathering at 5 pm on December 24, where we will wrap it all up with an evening of carols and Christmas worship led by the Cosgrove family, candle lighting and a drama reprise.  Following the gathering, join us in the HUB for Christmas cookies. Invite your friends and family to join you!

Blessings Under the Bridge

Garland Church Night Under the Bridge

Every Wednesday, a group of 50 volunteers meet to serve a hot meal, distribute toiletry and clothing items, and provide unconditional love to more than 300 homeless residents of Spokane.  Garland Church has the opportunity to be a part of this ministry on Wednesday, November 14.

How can you participate?

Join the team by registering below.

Plan on meeting at the church at 5pm on the 14th and we’ll drive together. Wear warm clothes/layers and walking shoes as we will be serving dinner and interacting with the homeless. We’ll be back to the church by 9pm.

Pray for Us

If you’re unable to come with us, then we welcome your prayers for our time there. Pray for our ability to show God’s love in a meaningful way.

Donate

We also welcome your donations of these tangible needs: Hygiene Items, Cough Drops, Hand Warmers, Socks, Gloves, Hats, Hoodies/Sweatshirts, Jeans, Coats, Boots/Tennis Shoes, and Blankets/Sleeping Bags. Look for the donation box in the Foyer at the church.
