April 26, 1964 Dedication of Existing Chapel & Christian Ed Building (Cost:  $164,000)

Summer 1983 Dedication of  Gym and Christian Ed Addition and Purchase of the Providence House

September 1993 Worship Services moved to the Gym

December 1997 Purchase of Cedar Property and subsequent Capital Campaign

Summer  2004 Series of congregational and elder meetings to seek God for future direction of Garland

September 2004 Decision to sell Cedar Property and stay at current location for the long-term

June 2006 Sale of Cedar Property & Redevelopment Team Assembled

October 2006 Building a Healthier  Church Initiative  Begins

Summer  2007 Congregation Survey completed and Redevelopment Team makes recommendations to the Elder Board

September 2007 Elder Acceptance of  Phase I Plan

Fall 2007 Building Team & Capital Campaign Team  Assembled

December 2007 -  March 2008 Building Team and architect prepare construction documents

February - March 2008  Capital Campaign
